WELCOME

Trinity Guild is open to all who share Christian ideals and wish to join others in fellowship, spiritual growth, concern for those in need, and service to the church.

We promote a program of worship, study and outreach among the women of the church; and to cooperate effectively with the other groups in the church and community to perform specific services.

Trinity Guild meets on the first Thursday of the month, at the Church or at the home of the hostess.

The meetings begin at 12:30 p.m. if lunch is served, or at 1:00 p.m. if dessert is served. Some meetings will be held in the evenings to accommodate working ladies.

Trinity Guild Officer Responsibilities

President The president shall preside at all regular meetings of the Guild and hold board meetings before the activity meeting. She will appoint a nominating committee in November, which will present a slate of officers at the next meeting. She writes and presents the Guild highlights of the year at the annual meeting.

Vice President The vice President will preside in the absence of the president. She will serve as the program chairman and place notices in the church bulletin and newsletter. She will work with yearbook committee to complete the plans for the upcoming year.

Secretary The secretary will take minutes of all board meetings, handle all correspondence and send cards to members in times of ill-ness or bereavement. She will post minutes on the bulletin board in the Fellowship Room.

Treasurer The treasurer will have custody of all funds
belonging to Guild, receive and disburse funds as agreed
upon by the Guild, and give reports at monthly meet-
ings. She will report on the fiscal year in December.

COMMITTEE RESPONSIBILITIES

Devotions Has a spiritual reading/study for each meeting and encourages members with personal devotions.

Fundraising Organizes the summer food booth and reserves gazebo, makes purchases, and obtains help.

Kitchen Supplies - Keeps the kitchen supplied with all that is necessary for the operation of the kitchen and monitors cleanliness.

Note Paper and Cards Purchases cards when needed and orders church notepaper. Puts notices in the bulletin reminding people of the availability of the cards and notes.

Outreach Prepares a list of suggested contributions for local outreach to the board after the fundraiser for voting. May create other activities as desired for outreach to the community.

Receptions Organizes wedding and funeral receptions, and other church gatherings, coordinating with the Hospitality Deacon.

Scrapbook Takes photos of Guild functions for our scrapbook.

Telephone Calls all the women in the yearbook with information about the monthly meeting and reports back to the hostess.
